Hiking under the stars with ICE Water Management

ICE is really pleased to welcome a new artist for 3 months: Philippe Jacquot.

Always passionate about photography, Philippe Jacquot discovered astronomy in 1998. The combination of these two activities became obvious, in order to inscribe through image, the moments of fullness and emotion offered by sky observation. He likes to transcribe night atmosphere as it can be observed with the naked eye.

President of the Annecy astronomy club Tycho Brahé since 2000, Philippe Jacquot also offers sky observation evenings and gives lectures on the Rhône-Alpes region.

After the observing the total solar eclipse in France in 1999, he travelled round the globe in order to experience again and again the intense emotion he felt during this exceptional astronomical event. A real “eclipse hunter”, he shares his passion by organizing trips for groups. 2023 will be the year of his 14th eclipse.

“Art in all its forms is a reflection of emotions shared by human beings, similar to the way beauty can transport us to a world of serenity.”

Learn more about Philippe Jacquot by visiting his website.

The exhibition will run from October 05 to December 22, 2020 – ICE Water Management – 50 rue Uranus Chavanod, France.

All are welcome!
