CFIA Rennes 2024: another participation for ICE
Once again ICE exhibited at CFIA Rennes. This show has become a not-to-be-missed event for all those involved in the food industry. Every year, more and more of these professionals come to discover new equipment and solutions, meet new partners and exchange ideas with them.
The 27th edition of the event saw an increase in floor space, with 1,700 suppliers exhibiting. Exhibiting at the CFIA Rennes is a unique opportunity for exhibitors to promote their expertise and innovations to visitors.
«Agri-food innovation is invented here» ; so it’s only natural that ICE Water Management should be present at CFIA 2024! For the third year running, our team presented ICE’s unique expertise in turnkey water treatment projects and water reuse (REUSE).
REUSE in the news at CFIA
It is now possible to reuse treated wastewater in the food industry (read our articles on the subject here). The new decree, published in the Official Journal at the beginning of 2024, sets out the terms and conditions for the reuse of treated wastewater in the food industry. The development of this practice will make it possible to reduce drinking water consumption and preserve water resources, while guaranteeing the safety of food products. So it was obvious that water would be a central theme at this year’s show.
Food manufacturers were able to discuss this subject and their REUSE projects with our team at CFIA Rennes 2024. Jamal Ouidirène and Frédéric Crocq gave live answers to all their questions about wastewater reuse. Of course, they presented ICE’s solutions and explained how we could support them in all their water saving, wastewater treatment and reuse projects.
