ICE is hiring an automatician f/m

As an automatician f/m, you will report to the department manager and automation referent. You will organize and implement systems developed by automation project managers on export projects.

You develop and implement automated systems in accordance with the specifications drawn up by the Process Engineering Department.

You are the guarantee of the quality/cost/deadline triptych of deliverables, and of the project’s entire automation package.

Your tasks as an automatician f/m

You will play a driving role in the progress of projects in the fields of control and command automation, and more specifically you will be involved in the following missions:

• • Process: you understand the ins and outs of the process to be implemented
  • Functional analysis and cabinet definition: you gather the information required for this project from the design engineer and transcribe this information into the form of control or automation cabinets.
  • Design: you monitor implementation by subcontractors and in the workshop, checking that the work carried out by our electrical suppliers matches the plans supplied, and designing software, network or system architectures.
  • Programming: you program PLCs and supervision systems (Siemens and Pc Vue).
  • Commissioning: you start up the installations (debugging, adjustments, etc.).
  • Feedback: you report daily on developments on site, and update the various documents that evolve according to the needs of the installation (functional analysis, software design specifications, electrical diagrams).
  • Testing: you test the machines (ICE); validate the FAT and SAT performed.
  • Application development in automation and programming
  • Internal and external coordination with subcontractors.

Profile required

Keen to join a dynamic, human-scale organization, you are naturally curious, a good communicator, proactive and available to travel in France and abroad. You are rigorous, logical and organized, and have a good sense of priorities.

Expected background for automatician f/m

• Higher education in automation and industrial IT
• At least 2 years’ professional experience in food processing or special machinery is required

Specific technical skills

• Ability to read an electrical diagram
• Perform electrical tests
• Ability to manage an entire project
• Knowledge of PLCs Schneider, Rockwell, Siemens (STEP 7, TIA Portal), Supervision, PC Vue

Language

• Good command of English
