Water treatment in a baby food manufacturing plant

Success in baby food sector

Objective:

In 2023 our client’s objective was to increase production capacity in a baby food manufacturing plant, specifically for infant milk.

Context:

After an assembly and testing phase in our workshops, the ICE teams carried out commissioning on site. The water treatment equipment is now installed in our client’s factory, representing a key step in increasing its productivity.

Water from the municipal network is treated directly on site to meet the very strict requirements for baby food manufacturing. This is a major challenge where quality, health safety, and reliability of the facilities are essential.

Equipment installed:

  • A reverse osmosis system delivering a permeate flow rate of 33 m³/h, with 80% efficiency
  • A 500 L RO CIP system for cleaning in place and maintaining performance
  • A standalone UV unit dedicated to water sterilization
  • A filtration skid

Each stage of the project, from design to installation, was carefully planned to ensure full compliance with the highest hygiene standards in the baby food industry.

Once again, ICE Water Management has demonstrated its technical expertise, practical know-how, and ability to support its industrial customers in projects where water management is a key factor in performance and safety.
