a specially fitted shipping container

A mineral water treatment unit integrated into a container

This mineral water treatment unit integrated into a container is a first for ICE and we are particularly proud of it.

A few weeks ago, our teams designed, manufactured, installed and commissioned a complete natural mineral water treatment unit… in a specially fitted 20-foot shipping container..

This installation, intended for one of our customers, a major European player in the natural mineral water sector, fully meets his requirements by enabling several essential stages of water treatment: oxidation, sand filtration, and manganese dioxide filtration for the removal of iron and manganese.

A project with several constraints to overcome:

  • Limited space imposed by the container size
  • A self-contained installation that is easy to move
  • The possibility of reusing the equipment in the future
  • Compliance with standard EN 13752

Inside the container, the installation carried out by our teams includes:

  • An oxidation column
  • A sand filtration unit
  • A manganese dioxide filtration unit
  • A 5µ finishing filtration unit
  • A network dedicated to backwashing media filters.

This flexible, compact and ready-to-use solution is yet another demonstration of our know-how and expertise.

“This project highlights our strength: a multidisciplinary approach where each profession contributes to the overall effort.
The real key to success is the expertise and know-how of women and men who are capable of transforming components into tailor-made, high-performance solutions. That’s what sets us apart.”

Exceptional project, exceptional load:

Loading this 20-foot shipping container onto a lorry is an impressive sight. Every move counts to ensure safe and controlled handling before it leaves for our customer’s site. The manoeuvre must be precise and perfectly orchestrated!
