A privileged moment of discussion with Mr Antoine Armand, Minister of the Economy and Finance at ICE WATER MANAGEMENT’s premises
ICE WATER MANAGEMENT had the honour of welcoming Mr Antoine Armand, Minister of the Economy and Finance, to its premises in Chavanod, during a meeting organised by Mr Olivier Salaun, President of the USMB Business Club, and Mr Nicolas Borghese, General Delegate. This informal visit brought together business leaders from Savoie and Haute-Savoie, Philippe Galez, President of the Université Savoie Mont Blanc, and members of the USMB and the Club, and provided an opportunity for a privileged exchange on the development challenges facing small and medium-sized companies in our region
In a convivial setting conducive to discussion, the Minister of the Economy and Finance gave a brief overview of the economic situation, highlighting the challenges and opportunities facing businesses. He then took part in a question-and-answer session with participants from the region’s main sectors, discussing a wide range of topics such as internationalisation, competitiveness, innovation, the obstacles facing small and medium-sized enterprises, HR issues and sectors of excellence.
The meeting highlighted the economic vitality of our two départements, the essential role played by local companies and higher education establishments such as the USMB, and the way in which the university can support socio-economic players in their transition. it also emphasised the importance of open and transparent dialogue between the public authorities and the business world.
